(1) Before power on, all mechanical and electrical equipment must be checked, which shall be safe and reliable, all appliances shall be in good condition, raw materials must be prepared, and fully preheated with permission.

(2) Alkali and cryolite must be mixed to avoid electrolyte splashing out during startup.

(3) When charging the furnace, the guide rod and the large bus bar must be ground smooth, so as to avoid the guide rod scratching the large bus bar, causing loose connection with the bus bar and causing bias current to the anode.

(4) Before the diverter is disassembled, the production personnel shall not touch the diverter empty handed. When the diverter is disassembled, the operators must wear labor protection articles to avoid scalding.

(5) When adding cryolite and alkali, it is necessary to operate smoothly to prevent feet from scalding when stepping into the tank. Before adding alkali, it must be preheated to avoid explosion, which will cause electrolyte separation and injury.

(6) When fishing for carbon slag, do not let the carbon slag spoon touch the anode, so as to avoid flower damage.

(7) When pouring electrolyte, the operation should be balanced. Irrelevant personnel must stay away from the chute to avoid scalding caused by electrolyte splashing. The chute must be fully preheated before use.

(8) When pouring aluminum: the voltage must be raised in time to prevent the voltage being raised too slowly, causing electrolyte to flow out of the tank and breaking the anode soft strip bus.

(9) When raising the voltage, there should be a special person in charge. When pushing and raking materials, pay attention to stand firmly to prevent accidents.

(10) When the on-site personnel find that the equipment and operation position are unsafe, they must report to the on-site commander immediately. After the danger is eliminated, they can continue to work.

(11) In the process of start-up, if there is electrolyte leakage, don't be nervous. Pour the water pipe into the place with electrolyte leakage until it is blocked. When using water, never let water into the tank to avoid explosion.

(12) During start-up, if electrolyte overflow is found, do not be nervous, first use baffle to block it, so as to prevent the overflow electrolyte from destroying the anode bus, and then use ice crystal barrier wall.

(13) In case of bias current and broken guide rod during start-up, timely cooperate with the crane to lift out the anode in case of accident. Irrelevant personnel shall stay away from the site to avoid scalding when replacing the hanging out pole. When installing a new pole, the new pole shall be fully preheated to avoid other accidents.
